This past weekend, our creative director Troy Massa, texted me the single cover artwork to Jidenna’s debut single “Classic Man”.
I slept on it for a few days. When I finally looked at it, I realized that Jidenna was wearing an Ankara Print tie and pocket square.
I instantly jumped online to figure out who this “Classic Man” was. After surfing the web, I found out that Jidenna was apart of Jánelle Monae’s new movement and record label Wondaland.
I also bumped into pictures of Jidenna wearing more Ankara Print inspired outfits (yay!) with Jánelle Monae a few days ago at a few Grammy 2015 parties. If Jidenna looks familiar, he was in the beginning of Jánelle Monae’s “Dance Apocolyptic” music video.
