Asoebi: University of Delaware African Student Association’s Snapshot Passport Africa 2016

On Saturday April 23rd, University of Delaware African Student Association’s held their annual, end of the school year event, called Snapshot 2016. The theme for this year’s event was Passport Africa and it was hosted by Kappacinco. I was also one of the fashion designers for their fashion show. Asoebi is a uniform type of dressing worn in West Africa by a group of people such as family or friends for special occasions.

Most people use ankara fabric for asoebi because it is versatile and affordable.
