THE STORY BEHIND THE PRINT
Mudcloth is a sacred fabric made in Mali. It is worn during transitional, initiatory, and dangerous phases in a persons life where the cycles of life, death, and rebirth meet. Hunters, children entering adulthood, and women who have just given birth bear this cloth as a form of protection.
GUIDE TO DIFFERENT FABRIC BLENDS
Cotton Jersey Blend:
Lighter weight, thick cotton-like jersey fabric. Suitable for Spring/Summer/Fall weather and more casual style. Choose this blend if you want a more light weight flowing fabric.
Lycra Jersey Blend:
Heavier weight satin-like jersey blend. Suitable for cooler weather and/or more dressy occasions. Choose this blend if you want a heavier fabric that will hold in your curves and shine as evening wear.

FIT GUIDE
Please use your actual body measurements, as dress sizes often vary across designer. Bra size is not the same as bust measurement, be sure to measure with a measuring tape the widest part of your bust in a bra you are likely to wear with the garment. If you have any areas of your body that are different from conventionally sized clothing (i.e. fuller arms or waist, taller or shorter height) contact us for guidance around fit.
Dress measures approximately 60″ from shoulder to hem.
All garments are made to order. Please allow 2-4 weeks for construction before shipping.
CARE GUIDE
Wash in garment bag on gentle cycle with mild detergent in cool water. Lay flat to dry. Do not bleach or iron.
